Hi there!
My name is Basori. I am a faculty and teacher trainer in the Tadris Bahasa Inggris, English Education at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim in Malang, East Java. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English Education from Universitas Negeri Malang in 2011 and completed my Master's degree in instructional technology from Northern Illinois University in 2016. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Purdue University taking Learning Design and Technology Program.
My primary research interest is in instructional technology and professional development for educators to improve educational outcomes in the madrassah and pesantren systems and in under-developed and -resourced settings. My proposed study for the doctoral degree is in education with a specialization in instructional technology in order to understand how to enhance the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) capacity of future prospective teachers and to apply instructional technology, especially the Community of Inquiry model, in the Indonesian context.
